Theoretical-practical undergraduate subject (fourth year) that provides the basic fundamentals in the conceptual, theoretical and practical aspects of the processing of biomedical images. It trains the students in the theoretical and practical knowledge of biomedical image processing tools, making her or him develop practical skills in the understanding, formulation and solution of problems, to support the diagnosis based on images. The practical classes are in MATLAB language, but the students can also develop them in Python language if they wish to do so.
