From July 3rd to the 7th, 2013, the 35th Anual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC’13) was held at Osaka, Japan.
The master’s student Nicole Labra presented the paper “ GPU-Based acceleration of an automatic white matter segmentation algorithm using CUDA”. The work consists of an algorithm able to label known tracts on a tractography datasets in a very short time, enabling interactive applications.
